D.C. Clark

Dave Clark, who writes under the name of D.C. Clark, had a number of technical articles published in Canadian and American professional magazines, and in newspapers, before he decided to switch to fiction. He is a member of the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Romance Authors Network, and for more than ten years up to 2009 was a member RWA and RWAC.

On-the-job experiences have inspired many themes and characters for stories crying out to be told. Dave has worked as a land surveyor, construction inspector, blaster, bulldozer operator, mineral prospector, logger, wilderness guide, and for a greater part of his career as a manager in heavy industry.

Tatamagouche Inheritance, a 55,000 word contemporary romance novel by D.C. Clark, was published in print and eBook format by The Wild Rose Press, in 2008. Dave has a couple of other manuscripts in draft. The first chapter of his 100,000 word contemporary romance manuscript, Ingonish Dilemma, won first place in the 2000 Golden Opportunity Contest of the Toronto Chapter of RWA.

Dave lives in central Nova Scotia, where he helps out with a family B&B, and writes and paints in his spare time. His works of fiction reflect an inherent familiarity with the people and setting of the Nova Scotia Scottish culture.
